Sometimes only one thing will do

I don’t mind whether we have pie, pudding, fish, ham, eggs, sausages, peas, gravy or beans; there just has to be chips.

    Life without chips would be as dull as dishwater. On their own, they are ace. Was there ever a more universally liked food as chips? Rice, and bread, and potatoes, probably, but that’s it. And they’re not ‘fries’ either… they’re bloody chips! I have to admit though… they never taste as good as they used to when they wus sold wrapped in the Sentnull.

    Calvin will be the expert on this, but I reckon in the old days the printing ink must of* been some sort of relative to vinegar.
