They caught my interest there

I saw a distinguished-looking gent driving one of these round the top of our road. It was full of Liberal Democrat election boards. This seemed an nusually raffish mode of poster delivery for that party, in the post-Jeremy Thorpe, post-Paddy Pantsdown era, but, the more the blog thinks about it, the more it arrives at the conclusion that perhaps this is the vehicle that sums them up best, suggestive as it is of low-rent suburban naughtiness and muddling ambition.

The Herald had a habit, once the chassis rotted in the middle, of collapsing into a pile of s**t. Is that what ‘the blog’ means? 😉

    OSx

    Maybe 🙂

    ‘low-rent suburban naughtiness’

Only posh people could afford something like that ’round Stowke.

Talking about minority parties did anyone see that ‘Green’ woman on Andrew Marr? Green = Communists.

    Andy P???

There’s lots of multi-coloured 3D shapes in here Winger, you should appreciate it on an artistic level at the very least! 😉

There’s no doubt some socialist philosophy that Green policies have used as a foundation, but communism? That’s a bit too far.

  5. Stephen Foster says:

But what do they use to deliver their election boards?

  6. AndyP says:

We can’t afford boards, we just use “Shank’s pony” to deliver our leaflets! 😉

  7. Stephen Foster says:

I like that a lot. You should be a shoo in for the fay aesthetic vote.

However, in my own fay case I’m finding it very, very suggestive of ‘Square Pegs in Round Holes.’
It strikes me that the whole concept is inspired by the excuses that typified the early years of Pulis and, by extension, Pulisball and that is giving me serious pause for thought…

  8. Stephen Foster says:

Well yes, but the people who drive them now, they, surely, are low-rent, suburban and naughty…

  9. AndyP says:

It is the three main parties with the square pegs, hoofing identikit policies to the masses offering a fare of ‘aaard work, budget cuts, and utilitarian austerity based on grinding out average results. It is the Greens offering a different, inventive style of play, with vision and creativity looking to provide a more skillful, engaging, and more enjoyable offering! 😉

Plus you wouldn’t catch Caroline Lucas in a baseball cap!
