Running in the dark

The jocks will be wearing miner’s helmets with the headlights set to full beam for the final hurdle, the 5.10 at Exeter, which surely only firms up blog favourite MISS NIGHTSHADE’S chances (on the well-established ‘name-relevant-to-situation’ system).

Here is what the Racing Post seems to think of her ‘chances.’ (Fortunately, we know better.)

* Miss Nightshade
* O’Brien, T J/Kittow, W
* Form : 7301-UU Age : 6 Weight : 10-11

Spotlight : Ordinary form when making nearly all to win fast-ground bumper last April; unseated in both hurdles starts and surely best watched.
