The Lone Dylan

There’s not much better than snow and a hound for making a composition, is there?

That is just beautiful. I imagine Dylan is enjoying the snow as much as our two are! (And there’s more on the way … )

  2. Patty Gross says:

Oh my, that is a beautiful photograph! I love the color of the sky and the lighting on the snow ridges. Dylan, of course, is his usual handsome self! What a striking figure he makes up there all alone!! Very well done!

How much snow are you expecting? I’ve heard this is the most Britain has had in decades. Is that so?

  3. OS says:

It doesn’t take a great leap of thought to see Dills on top of a sand dune in the desert, which is his natural home. A great pic.

  4. Stephen Foster says:

The longest cold snap since 1981, Patty. Plenty of snow and not enough grit or snowploughs or anything else to ‘deal with it’. It’s great for children and the young at heart. I heard Old Stokie started a snowball war in his street : )

Talking of the Desert what was it like fighting Rommel? 😛

And while you’re at it what about the winter of ’63? 🙂

  6. OS says:

You cheeky sod, Daftbugger! My dad was one of the boys who kicked Rommel’s arse out of North Africa. And then he went off to Burma to do the same to those you don’t like. And I don’t blame you. 😉

“And while you’re at it what about the winter of ‘63?”

The winter of ’63 was a doddle compared to the winter of ’47. This piffling bit of snow is luvverly. Of course, according to the saturated media coverage, anybody would think it’s armabloodygeddon.

    A young OS. 😉
