I’ve been sniffing about

I found this remark from George Orwell on Evelyn Waugh, ‘He’s about as good a novelist as one can be while holding untenable opinions.’

That’s not bad, considering they were both brilliant, living writers working on opposite sides of the fence, and considering the search term I used was ‘Jennifer Aniston naked.’ I wonder how the equivalent expression would come out today.
