is coming out in paperback in America on Tuesday and is finessing his poses in advance of the press call.
Yay! I ordered it from Amazon awhile back and will be getting it in the mail before the week is over, finally. Dylan looks very intent… rabbit maybe? I hope your current work in progress is going well.
Kate from Oregon
Oddly enough he reminds me of an American president – is it Lincoln? Or Eisenhower? Obviously not Bush though ; )
No excuse for that American book signing tour now then 😉
Hurrah for you Kate!
I don’t know AndyP – he strikes me as the kind of animal that would only do business class.
Not Bill Clinton either! Lincoln’s a good choice; long face, and he’s become a symbol of honesty and integrity.
Dylan is definitely a Reagan…..he’s already a star and a gentleman. Reagan was a star and a gentleman too.
Can’t wait to get my hands on this book. I’ve had many of my friends buy Walking Ollie and Along Came Dylan. They have had to have family members pry the books out of their hands. I have read Walking Ollie 3x now and Along Came Dylan 2x.
EMERGENCY MESSAGE FOR PATTY!
Fetching Dylan is the title of Along Came Dylan in it’s Stateside version!!
It’s not a new book Patty – it has new spellings for Americanization, and a post-script to bring it up to date regarding the passing of Ollie, but otherwise it’s the same…
I have to have it anyway, Stephen. It’s in my language you see. 🙂 And I’m a collector of all things by you…..so this is another for my collection. I also want it since it has a remembrance of Ollie’s passing. What a good boy he was. I wish so much I’d known him. If I ever make it to Dorset to see my sister again I’d like to just meet Dylan…..and you and Trezza of course.
Okay, that’s allowed :–)
If you make it to Dorset we’ll get there – there will be beaches and exotic southern rabbits for Dylan…
Okay…….cool!!! Drzl jumped a pheasant who was sitting on her newly born chicks this morning. Fortunately I was able to grab her just in the knick of time, or we would be having pheasant under glass for dinner …..er, tea.
