The Verdict

on the polenta cake (any budgies reading this should look away now):

‘Orange-Flavoured Trill.’

You have to give Swiss Tony the credit for coming up with that one; for that, and for having second helpings.

Hee hee. What fun we had with the Trill Cake. ST got it dead to rights and that wood pigeon would have died fighting to maintain his territorial hold on it. Eli Grumpy’s goat stew would not have been out of place in the Sahara. It would have gone down a treat relaxing with the Bedouins and surrounded by salukis. Mr Pink txt me last evening to tell me Eli had surfaced. He was ok. Thank goodness. I was worried about him. I don’t want to lose any of my foot soldiers.

Obviously, the Jaguar whisked you home safely along with Jackson and The Mix. Good. All’s well that ends well. A super weekend all told, Boy.

I don’t know what you’re complaining about. Those pigeons have got an extra sheen on their plumage today.

Hello Eli. Glad you’ve recovered. I was reet worried about you. 😉

I reckon that big bugger will be striding the next hen he sees after eating the Trill Cake. We should start a pet shop.
