Out-take

from the Daily Mail shoot. They somehow managed to overlook several excellent pictures of either Ollie and/or Dylan like this, all by Jason Bye, and instead used a picture of a generic terrier pup. Count the column inches, as they say.

you’re in the Daily Mail?! does this fall squarely in the Absolute Disgrace section?

there’s nothing I can do about the external forces that whirl around me…

What a lovely photograph! I did wonder what that puppy was doing in the article. Looking at Ollie here, Rod Stewart’s line “you are beauty and elegance” comes to mind.

Anything further on The Tree? The leaves are probably all gone now, so we may have to wait until spring to identify it.

A final comment: whoever is marketing your books in Ireland for you is not doing a great job – I have had to search quite diligently to find them and even then only one or two turned up, so I have had to order my copies for Christmas. There is a very good market here for your books, if the number of copies of Marley etc are anything to go by. Get them out there by the front counter!

Will bring those comments to attn of the publishers Geraldine.

I’m going to pass by the tree quite soon: will take camera…
